If you're at all insulted by this FAQ, don't be, particularly if you were referred here by somebody else. It's purely the result of an afternoon's cathartic venting. I'm sure all of the people helping will be more than willing to help you make your way through the web development lifecycle if you show just a little consideration for them. How? By reading the FAQs and scanning a few tutorial pages before asking your question
